At present, accurately measured, thick-walled pipes to be used as rolls must be manufactured in a plurality of working steps. The manufacture of pipes of accurate diameters is complicated e. g. due to inner stresses in pipe blanks which results in deformations in internal or external machining of pipes. An object of the present invention is to overcome the drawbacks of the prior art. According to the invention a metal sheet is bent into the shape of a pipe by applying to said sheet a bending force perpendicularly to the sheet along a longitudinal line of action (a) in the sheet by means of a bending tool (2), said sheet being supported on a support tool (3) along two support lines (b, c) parallel to said line of action which lies between said support lines, the sheet being laterally displaced, so that the bending line and support lines move along the sheet in its lateral direction, and that the edges of said sheet are bent against each other and welded together. Said sheet (1) may be bent by means of a bending roll (4) against two support rolls (5, 5'). The apparatus of the invention consists of a bending tool (2) e. g. comprising a bending roll (4), and a support tool (3), e. g. two parallel rotatable support rolls (5, 5') supported at a distance from each other, wherein bending roll is parallel to said support rolls and can be moved towards the support rolls by means of an actuator (11).

The invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure, in particular to roller bending machines.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the productivity by bending pipes of various thickness.
FIG. 1-5 shows the stages of production of pipes on the proposed device; in fig. 6 - device, axonometrics; in fig. 7 - the same, side view.
The device comprises a bending roll 1, rotatably fixed on the upper console 2, which is moved by means of a driving mechanism (not shown), a support device 3 comprising two support rolls 4 and 5, which are rotatably fixed on the base 6. The rolls 1, 4 and 5 pass through parallel to each other with the location of the bending roll above the support rolls between the latter.
The device is also provided with a longitudinal support element 7, extending parallel to the rollers 1, 4 and 5 and located between the supports of the IS with the formation of the upper edge of the groove 8 passing parallel to the rolls and limited by the edges 9 and 10. through a drive mechanism (not shown). The forces of the spring rollers P and 12 of the bending and supporting devices are chosen in accordance with the weight of the sheets so that during the operations the sheet remains in contact with the rollers and only in the pressing operation is brought into close contact with the nesting devices themselves.
The upper console 2 can be moved to the base 6 by means of a hydraulic cylinder 14 by means of a connecting rod 15. The device can be equipped with a drive mechanism and / or spring means 16 for lifting, as well as for springing the support element 7 disposed between the rollers 4 and 5 of the support tool 3. The rolls 4 and 5 can be provided with means 17 for rotating them and moving the sheet between them.
The device works as follows.
The metal sheet is placed on the support device so that it rests on this device along two parallel lines a and b, i.e. with the provision of points of contact between the sheet and the device, forming parallel reference lines in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the drawn sheet.
The bending by application, to a sheet of bending force directed perpendicular to the sheet along a straight line formed by contact points, is carried out by the bending tool and the sheet surfaces, this bending force being applied by means of the bending roll 1.
The line of action of the roll 1 passes through the lines a and b of the support device so that the rolls I; the sheet is bent along the line of action between the lines of support. Simultaneously, the sheet moves in the transverse direction, indicated by arrow A, from this side until the tube is shaped.
rolls, these rolls work like a rolling mill to give the pipe a smooth surface. At the same time, the pipe is calibrated. The inner surface of the pipe can be processed by means of a roll located inside the pipe. In the machining of pipe surfaces, internal pipe stresses are directed to the periphery, which increases the possibilities of using pipes as high-speed rollers and pipes with exactly dimensioned dimensions.
The proposed device provides simple and fast production of thick-walled and long tubes of small diameter and high-precision spad tubes, can be used for stress relief, provided that the upper console with the bending roll departs and the tube rotates on the lower rolls and is pressed by a special device so that the pipe is deformed with each application of pressure. With such a general processing of the pipe, the stress in the crystal structure is neutralized and it is possible to round-out the calibration of the pipe without deformation during external or internal machining.
Versions of the device can be provided with a sufficiently large system of gap compensation and bending, as well as with servohydraulic control with ensuring tolerances better than the existing ones.

The device can also be used in the production of precisely sized profiles.

Claims (2)

1. A device for producing a metal pipe from a sheet, comprising a base, an upper traverse mounted for vertical movement relative to the base by means of a drive mechanism, a support assembly mounted on the base and made in the form of at least two rotating rolls parallel to the required distance, a bending unit mounted on the upper cross bar and containing at least one bending roll, whose axis is parallel to the axis of the support rolls, and a drive mechanism for moving the sheet between the rollers in the transverse direction,
all the rolls are mounted on support rollers, so that, in order to increase productivity by bending pipes of different thickness, it is provided with a support element placed on the base between the support rolls parallel to their axes, the support rollers are connected respectively to the upper the traverse and the base by means of springs, and the said traverse is mounted for rotation in a vertical plane.

2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the supporting element is made with a longitudinal chute for bending the edge of the workpiece, the radius of which is equal to the radius of the rolls, and is mounted on the base by means of springs.
